The Hollow Roblox monsters are nine of them, and each one is pulled from a different Roblox horror experience, so every monster carries one signature feature that makes it easy to identify in the dark. None of them can be fought — the whole game is avoiding them.

The Hollow Roblox monsters at a glance

  • Mimic and Hiachi. Mimic comes from Animal Hospital while Hiachi comes from The Mimic. The names are the reverse of each other, and so are the source games, which is exactly why people swap them.
  • Piggy. It is the only monster that shares its name with the game it comes from.

Both of these appear on adjacent floors, so getting them straight matters when you are planning which floor to run.

Which monster arrives on which day

Every monster is tied to the floor it hunts. Seek hunts Floor 1, Twisted Dandy Floor 2, Biter Floor 3, The Deer Floor 4, Hiachi Floor 5, Mimic Floor 6, The Inspector Floor 7 and The Overseer Floor 8, with Piggy closing out the event on the ninth night. The monster schedule guide has the day-by-day table and the open times for each floor.

How each one hunts you

Each monster has its own approach, and the counters are different in every case:

  • Seek — black eyes appear on the walls and paintings when it activates.
  • Twisted Dandy — it hunts by sound, so sprinting gives you away.
  • Biter — a fast close-quarters chaser that punishes standing still.
  • The Deer — it ambushes in low-visibility areas.
  • Hiachi — flute cues predict its patrol route, and it will not cross open wooden bridges.
  • Mimic — it stalks a pitch-dark floor, so light is what makes it survivable.
  • The Inspector — it detects you in direct line of sight.
  • The Overseer — wide field of view, and it controls the passages.
  • Piggy — the final monster of the event's ninth night.

The evasion guide covers what to do in each of those cases, plus the safe rooms and gadgets that work everywhere.
